Sometimes, Korea is gorgeous.

Especially in the fall.  Like today:

Just a quick photo on post of the chapel that I volunteer at with PWOC (that's Protestant Women of the Chapel, a military-sponsored ministry of the on-post chapel system).

Is God artistic or what?! Days like this make me wish I was a painter or professional quality photographer so I could do better justice to the beauty around me.

And did I mention there are mountains here?! Seriously, my favorite thing about Korea is the landscape. Hands down.

Also, there are ginkgo trees everywhere. I love how they turn bright yellow, then drop all their leaves basically in one day:

But, alas, I'm spending most of my afternoon inside a Starbucks (which by the way has completely switched over from Halloween to winter/holiday decorations in the past 24 hours), trying to focus on grad apps. Back to the grindstone! :)

Cheers,
Emily
